(Reuters) - Hannah Hidalgo scored a season-high 35 points as Notre Dame routed host Georgia Tech 85-48 on Thursday in Atlanta.

Hidalgo shot 15-of-25 from the floor and also piled up eight assists and six steals for the Fighting Irish (16-4, 6-3 Atlantic Coast Conference). Kylee Watson added 19 points and nine rebounds.

Kara Dunn had 17 points and seven rebounds for the Yellow Jackets (13-9, 4-6).

At halftime, Hidalgo was outscoring Georgia Tech all on her own. The freshman had 18 of the Irish's 46 points, while the Yellow Jackets had scored just 17 as a team at the break. Hidalgo, who leads the nation in steals with 5.1 per game, notched her 100th of the season in the second quarter against Georgia Tech.

No. 8 Ohio State 87, Wisconsin 49

Cotie McMahon had 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Buckeyes raced away from the Badgers in Columbus, Ohio.

Ohio State (18-3, 9-1 Big Ten) was also boosted by 17 points and five assists from Jacy Sheldon, 11 points and seven boards from Eboni Walker and 10 points from Celeste Taylor. Serah Williams led Wisconsin (10-10, 3-7) with 16 points.

The Buckeyes led by just five points at halftime, but then outscored the Badgers 39-11 in the third quarter. Ohio State went on to lead by as many as 40 points as it scored 36 points off 27 Wisconsin turnovers.

No. 17 Virginia Tech 76, Virginia 63

Elizabeth Kitley scored a season-high 33 points as the Hokies beat the Cavaliers in front of a sold-out crowd in Blacksburg, Va.

Kitley also tied her season-high in rebounding with 18 boards in the fourth straight win for Virginia Tech (17-4, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference). Georgia Amoore added 20 points and 14 assists for the Hokies, while Matilda Ekh chipped in 13 points. The Hokies outrebounded Virginia 47-31.
